Hal,

I can remember my pool training when I was being certified too...what a good time I had...

Until we did the first regular ocean dive LOL

That's when you realize your training has paid off...

Saw fish, swam around...saw more fish (this is cool)...saw MORE fish, (ok this is getting boring seeing all these fish)...saw a skate, pretty cool...saw more fish...(yawn)...saw a shark...cool...saw more...WHAT!?! A SHARK!!! MOTHER OF GOD GET ME THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!

Lmfao....oh well, at least I didn't pull the regulator outta my mouth and shoot to the surface...

But I grabbed my PADI instructor in a death grip and hung on for dear life...

HE had the bang stick...heheh

Haha very funny, there was a shark program on tv over here the other night, so glad I was only in a pool. It was good fun and might well think about getting my cert now too.

Definitely get your cert, Hal..I am a retired scuba instructor with over 250 satisfied,now-certified students. It's a wonderful feeling--as close as you'll get to being in outer space.
