Review-Honeypot Cafe, Christchurch
December 14th 2007 08:41
This morning we had bit of a team building breakfast, combined with the usual Christmas team thing and the decision was made to go to the Honeypot Cafe in Litchfield St, Chch.
I have been here a few times and it has been very good in the past. Well this morning was no exception to the great service and food always on offer.
There would have been about 20 of us for breakfast and the service was just excellent. Even though we were a large group, all our drinks arrived promptly and were given to the correct person. The food followed quickly afterwards and we were all served at nearly the same time. No mean feat for such a large order, although we did pre order the day before, so that would have been helpful to them.
Most people had either pancakes, full monty cooked brekkie or eggs, bacon & mushrooms on toast. I had the eggs on toast etc and I have to say that it was very tasty and huge portions. After seeing the size of the full monty brekkie, I was pretty pleased that I hadn't ordered that one as I doubt I would have been able to eat it all.
Overall, great food, excellent service and very well priced as my meal with coffee was just $15.00 and well worth it. They also display various works and paintings by local artists.
So pop on in, for friendly service, great coffee and really nice food.
