In the course of running kiwiwauthor.com and my photography website, you get to meet many interesting people and Robyn Drabble is one of them. She has started an internet property matchmaking service and I quote from her article in The Christchurch Press

A Christchurch woman has started an internet matchmaking service for properties. Robyn Drabble of New Brighton says her website, www.realestateregistry.co.nz, differs from other property sites on the internet in that it lists buyers rahter than sellers.
It works by giving would be buyers a chance to create a free online profile of what they want to buy and where. Sellers then pay for access to the buyers profiles and can contact buyers by email.
"It just seemed to me a little bit odd that with all the websites and online communities, there was really nowhere for buyers to tell people what they are looking for in a property" Drabble says.
The website went online in February with Drabble selling her own home to fund the project. she says that while it is still early days, the reaction so far has been encouraging. "I've had some wonderful feedback from people that I've talked to. People seem to be willing to give it a go."
The site includes discussion forums and Drabble also plans to expand it to list services needed by buyers & sellers such as house repairers, lawyers and furniture sellers.
