Mt Hutt Weather Eye

Hi everyone
Last weekend I was lucky enough to spend some time down Methven way, so thought I would share some of the views. For my overseas readers, Methven is about an hour drive from Christchurch and a great place to stay overnight for some sking at Mt Hutt.
This was taken at about 3.30pm on Saturday 16 June, weather was pretty cool, with drizzle and low cloud.

Just stunning scenery in winter although flipping cold at times lol, current weather in Chch, hasn't been too bad, bit of rain the other day and a good frost this morning but the sun soon came out, so wasn't too bad.
thought for the day 'Most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done'
