'Fancy a coffee?'

October 1st 2007 07:50
With the previous post about C1 Espresso, I thought it would be great to share these pics that a friend sent to me.

Just amazing artwork and I expect if you are like me, you are thinking how good a nice coffee would taste right about now.

Wow! They must cost a lot more than a make-at-home cuppa, but I guess this could really take on!

Hey Hal

My word those are great! I imagine it would take years to be able to do that - and they seem to pout them with such ease too!

Thanks for sharing, have a great day.

Hi Kiwi A,

Considering the amount of water it takes to make a humble cuppa, I think this is Fabulous ... I would pay the extra to compensate the costs. I have long held the believe that the new art of professional Barista's is second to none, and if these are not airbrushed (but a real trend), WOW, how wonderful!

Anything that puts the quality and appreciation back into the abundance we enjoy, is certainly my cup of tea coffee.

That kitten is exquisite - as are the stars in the Saturn cup ...

I would never be able to bring myself to drink it....anyone who says a coffee is a coffee is a coffee is kidding themselves, I drive for miles for good coffee.........Hate to say it but Melbourne is the best coffee place anywhere by a standout country mile.......ok well maybe not Itsly but pretty dam close.....and some parts of Italy for sure.

Hey Louie,

Aren't they s'posed to be like a well poured Guiness - the froth is supposed to last until the bottom of the glass / cup?

Perhaps that's how these will be judged in the future at the Barista froth-offs? *chuckle*

Sorry Kiwi,A... back to you...

Indeed they're pretty but most look like a toothpick was involved. The real skill comes from those who design using the jug alone.
