Cycle Trading Co are the Biz!!!!!
February 14th 2007 08:21
Hi everyone
Thought I would share some details about a great cycle shop here in Christchurch. Now I had my bike serviced by another shop (nameless but they should know better) about 4 mths ago but hadn't done that much kms on it. Well last week I could feel the crank wasn't feeling right and I broke 2 spokes, plus the brakes felt crap etc.
So I popped in and saw the guys at Cycle Trading Co along the top end of Manchester St and left my bike there with instructions to sort it out and respoke the back wheel with better quality spokes.
I picked the bike up today and cost was $100, which is damm fair and not only that, I thought he had replaced my rear cluster as it looked like new? No I was told, he had just given it a really good clean along with, the rear mech, front cogs and chain.
These guys are old school retail and it shows, the Biz!!!! Awesome customer service.
Plans are still afoot for the Trans Alpine cycle ride although this week I have been hit with a fatigued spell but hopefully that will pass? As miss not riding my bikes.
Don't forget to check out my other blogs and remember to think of something to be included in a story. Oh and if you see a car driving around town with www.kiwiauthor.com on the back, then that will be me so smile and wave lol
I will leave you with a quote that I live by:
There are three kinds of people in this world, people who make things happen, people who watch things happen, and people who say what the hell happened?
I alway try to be a person who makes things happen, not just for myself but other people too!
Take care
Hal
