Christchurch Weather Eye

Hello everyone

Well winter is slowly on it's way as it was a fresh cycle in this morning, about 5degs and an awsome dumping of snow on the Alps too! Was pretty sunny during the day but chilly in the shade and a cool ride home. Took bit of a detour from my usual route as wanted to get some photos of the mountains but the sun was in the wrong postion, so took a couple of the Travis wetlands instead.

Tonight was spent editing chapter 5 which is coming along quite nicely, so shall leave you with thought of the day ' The more we give, the more we get'

Absoluetly beautiful photos..I love the outdoors...I've been to Oz a few times but never been to New Zealand..this makes me want to take the trip! Oh, but you guys have wettas there dont you...uh..maybe I should bring the bug repellant? Thank you for sharing..

Thanks for that, NZ is well worth a trip and the South Island is just great. Pretty sure Weta's are only in the North Island? And the only real bugs are sand flies on the West Coast but other than that not much here really unlike Aus. Watch this space for more photos and feel free to forward blog details on.
