Phew what a hot day it has been here in the Garden City these last couple of days, very muggy at night too. After watching the second from final episode of Hells Kitchen, as it was such a lovely night, I decided to go for a ride to Sumner on the bike.
As I was heading that way, I noticed the great sunset, so stopped off at my usual piccy spot at New Brighton, to capture the sunset over the city.

I stopped for a ice cream and it was rather pleasant to just sit by the sea wall watching the tide come in, there were quite a few people around too.
