Christchurch Weather Eye

Hi everyone
Today we have been rather lucky in Christchurch as although they forecast wintery weather, it has been nice and sunny. As I was walking along the beach this morning, I got chatting to a couple of surfers. I asked the question 'Isn't the water cold? He replied 'Yup, but then again if its 2deg on land, then the water is about 10deg' , Hmmmm I thought, don't think I will be jumping in the sea any time soon.
I wasn't too sure if the clouds rolling over the Port Hills was going to be the start of the cold weather, but within 30 mins it had almost disappeared.

I was driving along QE2 drive this arvo and often think thats worth a shot but never end up stopping, so today I decided to.

Thats all for now folks although next post will feature B & W pics, also off tonight to see the band The Have at the Dux d Lux, kiwi band from what I'm told although no idea what their style of music is like. So there should be some kind of review over the next day or so.
