Old Christchurch Cattle Yards Pics

I was out and about over the Christmas holidays and thought it might be worth to have a look at somewhere that hundreds of people drive past everyday without even giving it a second glance.
Now these have been empty for years and becoming more and more run down, so I pulling over to the side, I parked up and took a wander around.
As you can see, the taggers have been hard at work
Not too much left other than just bare walls although I did see a couple of homemade shelters, one in the building and the other in trees, so guess someone had been living rough there.
I always think its quite refreshing to find such wild, almost forgotten green space in the middle of a city, a bit of nature at work never did anyone any harm. Although I guess sooner or later, it will become concrete and glass etc. Right next to the yards is the old road bridge which is closed to traffic, so thought it was worth a look too.
