A Day in the Life of Christchurch, New Zealand

it was one of those weekends where I actually had a bit of spare time, so after some networking in the morning, I decided to spend some time just having a wander around the central city, to see what was happening and also keeping an eye out for photographic opportunities.
Cathedral Square, Chch - Giant Orchids, symbol of the Arts Festival ( Look a bit triffids don't you think?)
One of the many street buskers that you can find around the city on weekends
Crikey first a triffid and now a ufo?? The things to be seen Chch lol

I did get some great pics of various buildings around the Arts Centre which will look just stunning when I've changed them to black and white, so might put them on here once I've sorted out the watermarking program.
